synopsis
(Eng) A japanese immigrant in Brooklyn must work to develop his acting career after the loss of his wife, the sudden death of his father and being invaded by insects in the middle of a pandemic with different social events happening around the world.

(Eng)Filmmaker and university professor from Puerto Montt, in the south of Chile, he studied at Valparaiso’s University Film School, then illustration at Brother Advertisement in Santiago, Participated in Talents Buenos Aires and Eave On-Demand. In his works he tries to develop cinematic atmospheres and uses just a few dialogues. In 2011 was awarder with the “Pedro Sienna” national film prize from the chilean film Industry and was nominated in 2016 and 2017. One of the founders of Niebla production company, were he works as director and producer.
(Esp)Cineasta y docente universitario natal de Puerto Montt, con estudios en la Escuela de Cine de la Universidad de Valparaíso, ilustración en la escuela de creativos Brother Advertisement, participación en Talents Buenos Aires y en EAVE OnDemand. En sus producciones destaca la búsqueda de atmósferas y el uso de pocos diálogos. Ganador del premio “Pedro Sienna” el año 2011, nominado el 2016 y el 2017. Es uno de los fundadores de Niebla, casa productora donde dirige y produce actualmente.
Masataka Ishizaki is an actor, director based in New York City. He was born in Boston, USA, and raised in Osaka, Japan. For over 10 years, he has been working as an actor for films, televisions, commercials voiceover in Japan as well as in New York, USA. As for the director, his short film project “NO REASONS” has been screened at some film festivals such as New York Human Rights Film Festival 2022, Silicon Valley Asian Pacific FilmFest 2022, Festival of Cinema NYC 2022, NewFilmmakers NY 2022.
